Wah Wah Re Mauj Fakira Di
When the (waves of) thoughts get subdued without efforts, when there is no fear of life, loss or future, when the self gets fixated on the self itself, when the desires cease to exist, when the heart is contended with all it has, the state of eternal bliss....that of a fakir is achieved...and yes, its an effortless effort...when it happens, it looks so natural...
I believe it is the supremest of state reaching which we desire nothing more....nothing more remains to be accomplished.....nothing more remains to be achieved...no fame, no name, no recognition, no wealth, no respect, no luxuries, no compliments, no success....Everything else becomes insignificant.
The state of existence which i described above is not a function of time or place...it is eternal...all the time....and at all places where we are.
There are no battles within the mind...all the roads cease to exist...because once this state is achieved, nothing else remains to be traveled, nothing else remains to be seen...
"Mandir Mandir Moorat Teri, Fir Bhi Na Dikhti Soorat Teri"
Perhaps, what we are searching in the idol is within us...
The peace and stillness in/of the heart itself is ultimate pleasure. Rock Solid. Unshakable...Nourishing.

Back To Blogging
Since then, a lot of things have changed...and a lot of time has passed...
Leaving something for tomorrow sometimes never get accomplished forever.
Knowledge need not come from books alone...If we keeps eyes (and perhaps mind) wide open, we can learn a lesson even in crematory (oh, i did not mean in our grave).
Pushing a dead body inside the blistering electric crematory and seeing that body (which was very much alive just a couple of days back) catch up fire and yet (body) feeling no pain makes me think what was there inside that is no more there.
Didn't intend to begin this post on such serious note...but anyways, impulsive dispassion which arises in a crematory does not last long for anything impulsive will die soon... Only that which is a product of profound thinking will last forever.

How to Control Mind???
It explained in a wonderful way, how a situation of man is if he doesn't control the mind. Here it goes: "A man without self-restrain/self-control is like a city broken down & without the boundary walls"
What the above quote implies is, if we lose self-control over ourselves, we become defenceless as any outside factor can easily enter us and devastate us.
You have already won the world if you have controlled your mind and made it do things that you really want to do and not making it do things you don't want to do.
I just came across some another ancient literature where I found some amazing solution to Mind Control/ controlling the mind.
If something is really distracting you and coming your way to Performing Duty, keep this principle in Mind; it should help you:
"Suppress the Enemy & Disease before they Overpower you & Destroy You"
Well, isn't it true..
Wish u good luck.
I'm sure now you can win over your enemies with these tips.

Time Management or Self Management
Sometimes back i went to meet my finance professor who is one of my idols. I haven't seen a better time manager than him. He abounds in energy. He radiates a lot of it. He teaches in so many colleges and for so many classes.
But what amazed me was how seemlessly he managed all this. How on the earth can he find time to do so many things?
If you are an Indian, there's no doubt about you knowing Shahrukh Khan. When someone interviewed Shahrukh Khan on his 41st birthday and asked him what would be one thing he would like to change...and all he answered was..."I wish there were more HOURS in a day".
So may be Shahrukh Khan is too facing the crisis that we all are...and that is how do we add extra hours to our day.
Coming back to interview with my Sir, I asked him if he wanted to advice something to his students...and all he said was: "You should learn how to extract 25th hour from a 24 hour day"
That day evening, i kept thinking about what he had just said...and I was trying to relate it with his Time Management skills.
And wooooh....i found an answer to his success technique.
What we all we are trying to do is: "Doing as much as possible in as little time". We are trying to foucs on how we can "Do more things in less time".
But I realized that there are very few ways of achieving it. Technology is one of them. But technology has its own constrains.
So what's the Secret of Time Management.
I found the answer from what my Sir had said. I learnt that it is not only important to do more and more things in less and less time, but there lies one more dimension to time management. And that, i believe, is the very secret of my Sir's success.
And that secret is: "CUT THE CRAP"
Just drop off all those unnecessary things you have been doing [like reading my blog.....lol] which consumes hell lot of your time and focus your entire energies on the work at hand.
Chopping of futile conversations, surfing, [u know what other things kill your time], etc can give you countless productive hours.
So I guess, the secret of Time Management is:
Manage Yourself...and Time will be Managed By Itself.

How to Conquer Mind???
How to control desires of our senses and focus our energy on what we really want to do???
Well this is a question what most of the blog readers want to know.
You may think that suppressing you senses will be a solution.
But SUPPRESSING your senses and your mind will not work. Suppressing our desires is like pressing the spring and making it remain in contracted condition.
The string will remain suppressed as long as the pressure on it remains. Moment we remove the pressure from the spring, it will re-gain it’s original shape. The same is true with our mind and senses. When we suppress our desires, they are very active beneath us.
OUR MIND & SENSES will violently REVOLT moment they get an opportunity to set free. The Mind will trick you and make you commit what you don’t want to and make you not do what you really want to do.
Hence suppression may work for time-being but it is not the solution.
Then how should we control our thoughts and our mind.
The key is changing our thoughts.
If we keep fighting with our mind, our MIND will WIN most of the time because it is actually more powerful than us. So it is futile to waste our energy arguing with our mind and trying to convince what we want to do.
Don’t argue or counter-attack the mind. For every thought you give your mind for not doing something, it will give you thousands of reason why you should do it.
And the biggest trap of the Mind will be, let me do this JUST TODAY.
But this today will keep coming everyday.
So secret is, tactfully change our FOCUS. Change your thought as soon as a tempting thought arises. Change your focus immediately from injurious thoughts - from the object of attraction to something better and beautiful. Just simply pick up a nice book & start reading it. Just listen to a good song. Call your old friends. Go out. ENJOY. Don’t Kill yourself.
The Powerful Mind
The Mind is powerful. Obstinate. A wonderful servant. But a lethal Master. It is immensely powerful. Controlling the mind is exceedingly difficult. When untamed & uncontrolled, mind can create havoc in your life. You can perish in spite of being endowed with wonderful talent & intelligence. The senses pull the mind towards objects of instant gratification....the sense wants it DESIRES to be fulfilled...The mind wants pleasure...instant pleasure...Anything that is capable of giving instant sense pleasure will become object of fancy for the mind and it will crave for MORE OF IT...
The first time we are tempted to do something, there is an opposition from within to avoid doing it...Our conscious knows that we shouldn't be doing what are doing...there's the battle...but the force of the mind seems too strongly...it violently pulls us towards fulfilling the desires of our senses. Unable to bear the pressure of the battle within, we give up the fight to put up an end to the struggle. We let our sense...our desires...and our mind WIN...We lose...
And each time we come across a similar situation....the arguing forces within us gets weaker and weaker and the ugly half of us becomes stronger and stronger and dragging us towards instant pleasure...
